FULTON - Warren Marshall "Sonny" Boone, 86, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice Unit.  He was born December 5, 1937, to Thomas and Bernice Ingram Boone.  He was a long-haul and short-haul truck driver.  From an early age, Sonny was seldom seen without a guitar in his hand.  He enjoyed playing music anytime, anywhere, and especially enjoyed his Monday night jam sessions at the Carolina Community Center as well as his former Saturday music sessions at the Tombigbee Jamboree with his friend Jack Hammer Johnson and others.

A celebration of Sonny's life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 24, at the Carolina Community Center.  McNeece-Morris Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include three children, Terisa Boone Whitaker of New Braunfels, TX, and Keith and Kevin Boone, both of San Antonio, TX; three step-children, Candace Richey Haynes (Kim), and Carey and Clay Richey (Daletha); and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Juanita Boone, on November 27, 2019; and his parents.
