MOOREVILLE - Virginia W. Christian Miller, 89, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022, at her home. She was born March 30, 1933, in Dorsey to Samuel "Bud" and Myrtie Moore Christian. She worked as a seamstress for Action Furniture for many years and was a member of the Morning View Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and helping in church activities in any way she was needed.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, November 21, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Chris Burrows and Bro. Bradley Bagwell officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery at Peppertown.

Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Garner; one son, Robert Miller; and one sister, Mildred Rock, all of Mooreville; one grandson, Mark Garner; and four "adopted" grandchildren, Chloe Copeland, Sadie Copeland, J.C. Smith, and Charlie Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lee Miller; one daughter, Sandra Beth Steffens; her parents; five brothers, Clyde, C.B., Clayton, Samuel "Buddy," and Creston Christian; and six sisters, Luna Donald, Varnell Haile, Melrose Loague, Arlene Enright, Flora Ruminer, and Martha Smith.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
