Tommy Waddle, 85, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at his home. He was born July 2, 1940, in Itawamba County, to Will and Lela Gilliland Waddle. He was a minister for 60 years and a member of Salem Baptist Church. He was self -employed in the Tarp factory business for many years. He drove a school bus for the Itawamba County School District for several years. He was also the owner of Waddle Fish and Steak House.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 30, at the Salem Baptist Church with Bro. Kerry Lee Peden and Bro. Terry Paul Graham officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Waddle; two sons, Mike Waddle (Reda) and Matthew Waddle (Britni); two daughters, Deborah Waddle and Rhonda Park (Dennis); one step-son, David Belue; 14 grandchildren, Jake Waddle (Maggie), Jessica Fennell (Michael), Mary Klier (Matthew), Gene Rodgers, Diana Sockwell, Kyle Park (Charly), Alexandria Boyd (Blake), Summer Park, Keshia Sartain (Chad), Caleb Waddle, Lillie Waddle, Reed Fowler, Libbi Fowler, Lizzi Fowler; 14 great-grandchildren, Eli Rodgers, Avery Kate Rodgers, Alan Sockwell, Cade Sockwell, Samuel Sockwell, Janae Sockwell, Adrian Klier, Adelaide Klier, Cooper Waddle, Chloe Waddle, Hudsonn Fennell, Jon Rockford Boyd, Maverick Senkbeil, and Emma Senkbeil; the mother of his children, Dorothy Waddle; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sharon Waddle; an infant great-grandson, Weston Fennell; seven brothers, Roy Dee Waddle, Odie Waddle, Milburn Waddle, Eudith Waddle, Odell Waddle, Connie Waddle, and Billy Waddle; two sisters, Betty Hughes and Willarene Waddle; and his parents.
Pallbearers will be Jake Waddle, Gene Rodgers, Dennis Park, Cooper Waddle, Eli Rodgers, Kyle Park, and Caleb Waddle.
Honorary pallbearers will be Reed Fowler, Hudson Fennell, Alan Sockwell, Cade Sockwell, Samuel Sockwell, Adelaide Klier, and Maverick Senkbeil.
Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Salem Baptist Church.
