TREMONT - James Terry Robinson, 80, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at The Meadows.  He was born February 1, 1944, in Itawamba County to Kendle and Maye Yielding Robinson.  Terry was self-employed in the construction industry most all his working life.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed farming and working on his fish ponds, which he jokingly called his flower gardens.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton.  Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery at Tremont.

Survivors include his wife of almost 60 years, Mary Robinson; and one daughter, Kathy Calvert (Mark), both of Tremont; one son, Michael Robinson (Candy), of the Oakland community; one sister, Shirley Reeves (Charles) of Fulton; four grandchildren, Morgan Calvert, Haley Ramey (Zack), Hannah Robinson, and Peyton Robinson; and one great-grandchild, Sawyer Thurmond.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kendle and Maye Robinson.
