Sarah Inez Chilcoat Davis, 80, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born April 27, 1944, in Itawamba County, to Gallagher Bryan and Janie Inez Johnson Chilcoat. She worked at Charm Step for many years. She enjoyed bingo, playing dominoes and cards, and fishing. She especially loved her little dog, Baby Girl.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 24, at the McNeece- Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Earl Flemons officiating. Burial will be in the Mantachie Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Elliff of Mantachie and Sandy Foster of Mooreville; two sons, Gary Turner of Mantachie and Daniel Davis of Mooreville; five grandchildren, Michael Elliff, Brandi Davis, Daisy Davis, Dustin Buse, and Michael Foster; one great grandchild, Myla Rayne Elliff; several nieces, nephews, and other family members.

She was preceded in death by six sisters, Lizzie Cockrell, Dorothy Turner, Linnie Flemons, Clinese Hamilton, Bobby Gambille, and Orpha Chilcoat; six brothers, Ben Chilcoat, Walker Chilcoat, Forrest Chilcoat, Wade Chilcoat, James Bryan Chilcoat, Lynn Chilcoat; and her parents.

Visitation will be Saturday from noon until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
