Ronnie Dee Tapley, 67, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born October 19, 1958, in Lancaster, SC, to Elder and Velera Hester Tapley. He was a truck driver for Toyota for several years and then for Lewis Express. He enjoyed working on about anything, from cars to clocks and anything else he could work on with his hands. He loved fishing, playing dominoes, cooking out, drinking coffee, working 3-D puzzles, shooting pool, and watching football on television. He was a masterful jokester.

Services are private/ Burial will be in the Center Star Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home is in chgarge of the arrangements.

Survivors include one daughter, Heather Rodgers; two sons, Leelder Tapley and Harper Tapley; one brother, Tommy Tapley; and the mother of his sons and his good friend, Jessica Dillard (Chris).

He was preceded in death by his parents.
