BELMONT - Ronnie Glenn "Rabbit" Pruitt, 63, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022, at the St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born August 6, 1958, in Booneville. He always said he was a trucker by day and a guitar player by night. He traveled many miles in his trucking days and always had his guitar with him in his truck. He was a man with some of the funniest stories that would keep everyone laughing to tears. Everyone in surrounding states has heard "Rabbit" on the CB at one point. He also enjoyed fishing and loved his dogs.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, at Belmont Memory Gardens with David Pruitt officiating.  McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his daughter, Shanna Stanford (Matt) of Fulton; two grandsons, Jayden Turner and Jared Turner; one brother, David Pruitt (Jodi) of Dennis; one sister, Rhonda Wright (Martin) of Tishomingo; and a number of extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Casendra Ann Rouse Pruitt, who died August 4, 2012; his father, Avis Pruitt; his mother, Helen Gann Pruitt; and a sister, Vonda Kaye.

Pallbearers will be Don Hall, Tim Wood, Greg Huffman, Robert "Captain Red" Simmons, Marshall Simmons, Randy "Rando" Elliot, Kevin Watson, and David Holcombe.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Burton, Jeff Long, Jeff Wooten, and Greg Collier.
