Ricky Wayne "Stud" Sturdivant, 58, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born April 18, 1967, in Baldwyn, to Cecil Milton and Peggy Jean Kitchens Sturdivant. He was a short and long-haul truck driver for many years. He then worked for over 17 years at Jimmy Dale Bostick logging company. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 18, at the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church with Bro. Andy Barnett officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the Church.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Kathy Mayhall Sturdivant; two sons, Daniel Sturdivant and Anthony Sturdivant; one brother, Eugene Sturdivant; two grandchildren, Casen Wayne Sturdivant and Austin Lee; several other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mona Gasaway and Cindy Ledlow; and his parents.
