FULTON - Rebecca Jean Nichols, 58, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice Unit. She was born February 5, 1965, in Amory to Anthony Shaffer and Patsy Jane Gordon Noe. She worked as a CNA for Daniel Nursing Home for 15 years before becoming disabled. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was an avid reader. She loved her five dogs and enjoyed flowers, gardening, and painting crafts.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 16, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Jay Knight officiating. Burial will be in the New Salem Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Patrick Nichols, of Fulton; three sons, Joshua Nichols of Fulton, Jeremia Nichols of Tacoma, WA, and Andrew Nichols of Erie, PA; one brother, Thomas Haas (Sonya) of Tupelo; one sister, Kellie Lopez (Robert) of Fulton; four grandchildren, Kollon, Joshua, Ella, and Marc; a special niece, Brittany Andersen (Kyle) of Fulton; and several other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Nichols, Robert Lopez, Kyle Andersen, Frank Donahue, and Bobby Howery. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremia Nichols and Andrew Nichols.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Friday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
