Peggy Jean York Wiggs, 82, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026, at her home in Dorsey. She was born September 20, 1943, to Paul and Willena Hardin York. She was a member of the Friendship Methodist Church in Peppertown. She was a talented as an interior designer and insurance salesperson for many years. She loved painting, and especially loved doing landscape pictures. She also was accomplished at making jewelry and she enjoyed fishing in her earlier years.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 16, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Joseph Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel Craig Wiggs (Lisa) and Cory Wiggs (Marquax); one brother, Robert Lee York of Cape Girardeau, MO ; one sister, Lou Cindy York of Fulton; eight grandchildren, Michael Wiggs (Jessica), Casey Wiggs, Justin Wiggs (Charlotte), Avery Wiggs, Ceth Wiggs, Noah Wiggs, Aaron Wilkerson, Carly Flynn; nine great grandchildren, Andrew Wiggs, Colton Rodgers, Camden Rodgers, Daniel Paul Wiggs, Peyton Brooke Boone, David Rea Wiggs, Preston Wiggs, Sophie Wiggs, and Michael “Kip” Wiggs.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Herman Casey Wiggs; one son, Carey Wiggs; and her parents.

Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
