FULTON - Peggy Joyce Smith, 77, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Methodist Hospice Residence in Memphis, TN. She was born June 17, 1947, in Fulton, to James Junior and Willie Hildred Hood Senter. She graduated from Itawamba Agricultural High School. She was a home maker and loved watching sports, especially the Atlanta Braves.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 18, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Haynes officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include one son, Jason Smith (Emily) of Southaven, MS; two grandchildren, Cade Smith and Noah Smith; one sister-in-law, Cynthia Smith; one nephew, Wesley Rogers; one niece, Leigh Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Joel Smith; one sister, Jane Rogers; two brothers-in-law, Ricky Smith and Jerry Rogers; and her parents.

Pallbearers will be Cade Smith, Noah Smith, Brent Farrar, Wesley Rogers, and Stephen Hood.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
