Peggy Lou Jones Kent, 78, died Sunday February 24, 2019, at The Meadows. She was born March 14, 1940, to Tom Beene and Irene Thrasher Jones. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and former employee of the Fulton Hospital. She was a Baptist. She enjoyed her flowers, fishing, cooking, and arts and crafts. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:00 p. m. Wednesday, February 27, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Greg Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Kent of Mooreville; two sons, Phillip Mark Buse and Jeff Buse (Marcia), both of Mantachie; two brothers, Terry Jones (Felicia) and Donny Jones, both of Mantachie; three grandchildren, Tara Buse, Phillip Tyler Buse, and Kayla Buse; two great grandchildren, Alex Buse and Ava Grey Buse; several nieces and nephews and other family members.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Tommy Jones, Jimmy Jones, and Sammy Jones; and her parents.Pallbearers will be Terry Buse, Josh Jones, Tom Jones, David Jones, and Phillip Tyler Buse.

Visitation will be from 5:00- 8:00 p. m. Tuesday, and from noon until service time Wednesday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
