Obituary

Paula Jean Jones, 50, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born September 18, 1974, in Tupelo, to Argus and Martha Jean Franks White. She worked as a seamstress at Golden Manufacturing for many years until she became disabled. She attended Ozark Methodist Church. She had been a member of the Houston Volunteer Fire Department for last ten years. She loved animals, and she enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, yard work, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, at the Ozark Methodist Church with Bro. Caleb Holder and Bro. Blake Buchanan officiating. Burial will be in the Ozark Church Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, Scottie Jones; three sons, Blake Buchanan (Maddie), Austin Jones, and David Eli Jones; one step-son, Michael Jones (Heather); one daughter, Anna Grace Jones; two brother, her twin brother, Barry White (Lisa) and Perry White; one sister, Tami Rogers (Tracy); two nephews, Cody Hoyle and Dakota White; two nieces, Montana Rogers and Carolina White; one great niece, Rosemary Hoyle; one great nephew, Jayden Hoyle.

She was preceded in death by one nephew, Cole Rogers; and her parents.

Pallbearers will be Darryl Wooldridge, Blake Wooldridge, Logan Lefford, Glenn Lefford, Cory Jones, and Jordan Jones.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Houston Volunteer Fire Department.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from noon until 3:00 p.m. at the Ozark Methodist Church.
