GOLDEN - Owen Burns, 84, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021, at his home. He was born April 6, 1937, in Alabama to Alexander and Bulah Nunley Burns.  He worked as an orderly at the Red Bay Hospital for many years.

To honor Owen's request, no services will be held.  He will be laid to rest in the Burns family plot at the Maud-Burns Cemetery in Maud, Alabama.  McNeece-Morris Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Bulah Burns; two sisters, Delila Dees and Reba White; and four brothers, Bobbie Ray Burns, Olen Burns, Billy Gene Burns, and Boyd Burns.
