FULTON - Mina Burton Palmer, 81, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019, at her home. She was born April 22, 1937, to George Rufus and Vertie Mae Marbutt Burton. She was a homemaker and worked in retail for Wal-Mart. She was a member of East Fulton Baptist Church. She was an avid reader who enjoyed playing cards and working in her yard, especially with her flowers.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Joseph Jones and Bro. John Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include two sons, Adam Palmer (Angie) of Tremont and Charles Eddie Palmer (Ann) of Lafayette, Louisiana; two daughters, Rene Evans of Fulton and Nicole Konkol (Zac) of Frankfort, Kentucky; one sister, Belle Kent of Bourbonnais, Illinois; three grandchildren, Tori Palmer, Luke Evans, and Paul Wilburn (Veronica); and two great-grandchildren, Madison Warren and Elliana Wilburn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Shelby Palmer; her parents; and several brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will include Luke Evans and Paul Wilburn. Honorary pallbearers will be Zack Konkol and Randy Burton.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
