TUPELO/SMITHVILLE - Jerry Micheal Brasfield, 49, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 3, 2024, in Tupelo. He was born August 30, 1974, in Amory and was an equipment operator for SMC Metals.  Micheal was a hard worker and enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Joseph Jones officiating.  Burial will be in the Union Grove Cemetery in the Tilden community.

Survivors include his mother, Eunita Brasfield; one brother, Jimmy Brasfield; and one sister, Kristal Ferguson, all of Smithville; three nieces, Sorayla Brasfield, Sadie Brasfield, and Savanna Brasfield; and two nephews, Stephen Brasfield and Cody Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lynn "Tiny" Brasfield; his grandparents, Guy and Dimple Young, and Bascom and Jettie Brasfield; and one brother-in-law, Rickey Ferguson.

Pallbearers will be his friends Mark McMillen, Brad Standifer, Anthony Bennett, and Jason Duke.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
