Obituary

Mary "Booter" Ruth Bishop Arnold, 77, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She loved being around her family, especially the family gatherings. She was an avid reader, and she enjoyed shopping.

Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, February 23, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie with Brother Billy Burleson and Brother Reggie Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Jones Chapel Cemetery.

Survivors include her children, J.R. Hamm of Mantachie, Bryan Arnold (Amanda) of the Mooreville, Steve Arnold of Booneville, Linda Alred (Mike) of Mooreville, Judy Wood (Bobby) of Dorsey, Elizabeth Gibbons (Josh) of Auburn Community, and Becky Bishop of the Auburn community; one brother, Mickey Bishop of Blue Springs; four sisters, Brenda Jones of Blue Springs, Gail Reno (Jim Hayes) of Saltillo, Teresa Krayenhagen (James), and Angie Hamilton (Darrin), both of Blue Springs; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Vernon Hamm and Henry F. Arnold; one son, Kelly Hamm; one daughter, Deborah Stultz; one sister, Peggy Bishop; four brothers, G.W. Bishop, Billy Wayne Bishop, Bobby Gene Bishop, Jeffery Lynn Bishop; two grandsons, Matthew Hamm and Garrett Arnold; one granddaughter, Christy Arnold; and her parents.

Pallbearers will be Chipper Alred, Bradley Alred, Harley Hamblin, Bryson King, Seth Nolan, Henry Arnold, John Putt, and Mike Alred.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 1-3 p.m. at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
