Marion Wicker Parkman, 75, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born December 7, 1945, in Scott County, to John and Illma Wicker Parkman. He was retired as manager of Rapid Oil Change in Brookhaven after many years of service. He moved to Itawamba County in 2004, where he was a member of Dorsey Southern Baptist Church.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2021, at the Dorsey Southern Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Rushing officiating. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Charlotte Parkman; one son, Todd Parkman of Jackson, MS; one daughter, Lisa Eldridge (Mike) of Mooreville; one sister, Mary Byrd (Tony) of Crystal Springs, MS; six grandchildren, Jase Franks, Nick Franks, Jennifer Martin (Jordan), Madison Neil (Brody), Haley Eldridge, and Grace Eldridge; six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Parkman; and his parents.

Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Dorsey Southern Baptist Church
