Margaret Sands, 80, died late Friday night at the North Mississippi medical Center in Tupelo. She was born January 7, 1940, in Walland, TN, to John and Pearl Millsaps Sands. She was a factory worker, drove a semi-truck, and worked in restaurants over her lifetime. She enjoyed crocheting and watching television.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Jonathan Sands officiating. Burial will be in the New Home Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Vivian Mae Thorington of Fulton; two sons, James "Jim' Edward Browning and Richard Alan Browning, both of Murfreesboro, TN; one sister, Pat Summerford of Tremont; two brothers, Sam Paul Sands of Fulton and Jonathan Sands of Memphis, TN; a special sister-in-law and friend, Joyce Weyhrauch of Fulton; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Douglas Sands; and her parents.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Tuesday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
