Lois Jean Boyer Hardin, 84, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at The Charleston Place in Fulton. She was born March 27, 1941, in Arkansas, to Holmon and Gertie Causey Kelley. She was a home maker and was also a parts manager for the Wright Company. She was an accomplished seamstress and jewelry maker and enjoyed quilting and coloring. She loved sharing the jewelry she made with others.
Memorial services will at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, at the Rance Johnson picnic shelter in Itawamba County.
Survivors include three daughters, Renee Murphree (Robert) and Denise Phillips, both of Fulton, and Tammy Jones (Jeffrey) of Baton Rouge, LA; one brother, Olen Kelley; two sisters, Annie Goacher and Linda Hearn; six grandchildren, Matt Webb (Jamie), Jennifer Conley (Jason), Jessica Dunnington (Evan), Jeffrey Jones, Jr. (Alexis), Kelley Jones, and Kayley Phillips; seven great grandchildren, Lily, Seth, Katherine, Reed, Oliver Dean, Remi, Eleanor Rose; and soon to be Rhyn Marie; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Boyer and J.E. Hardin; four brothers, Joe Kelley, Robert Kelley, Edgar Kelley, Holmon Kelley; two sisters, Lorene Latham and Alice Cook; and her parents.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Charleston Place for their excellent care the past three years.
