Lester Duane Harris, also known as Wayne to his family, 68, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at his home in Saltillo. He was born August 2, 1956. He was a Veteran, serving in the United States Army. He was in construction for many years, working at JA Hodges Construction. He enjoyed fishing, camping, family cookouts, his dogs, and being around his family.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 14, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Bill Bass officiating. Burial will be in the Andrews Chapel Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Harris of Saltillo and Jason Harris (Eve) of Mantachie; one daughter, Mary Charlotte Harris of Biloxi; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; several half -brothers, half -sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Brenda Kaye Harris; and his parents.

Visitation will be Monday from noon until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
