L.E. Stovall, 86, peacefully passed away on April 3, 2025, at Charter Senior Living surrounded by family and his devoted caretakers. Born on August 29, 1938, in Itawamba County, MS, he was one of seven boys born to Robert and Veola Stovall. L.E. spent his childhood in Victoria, AR. After high school, he moved back to Fulton, MS and married Dot West. L.E. and Dot were married for 65 years and are members of East Fulton Baptist Church. L.E. loved the Lord and was a true outdoorsman. He cherished his time in the woods deer hunting. He also loved to visit Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains. L.E.'s favorite title was being "Poppy" to his two granddaughters, Olivia and Haley.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Terry Paul Graham and Ricky Lesley officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens.

L.E. is survived by his wife, Dot Stovall; his son, Mark (Velvet) Stovall of Signal Mountain, TN; granddaughter, Olivia Stovall of Charleston, SC; granddaughter, Haley Stovall of Chattanooga, TN; and his brother, Steve (Charlotte) Stovall of Augusta, AR; many sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Veola Stovall; his brothers, Bobby Stovall, Doyle Stovall, Buddy Stovall, Jerry Stovall and Ronny Stovall.

Visitation will be Saturday from noon until service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in the memory of L.E. Stovall can be made to East Fulton Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Mackie Thornton, Ben Beane, Shane Dulaney, Keith Spencer, Mike Davis, and Larry Quinn.
