Larry Ray Gentry, 70, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born July 29, 1954. He was disabled. He enjoyed NASCAR and was an avid Ole Miss Rebels and Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 15, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Mark Spradling officiating. Burial will be in the Center Star Cemetery.

Survivors include one son, Noah Gentry; two brothers, Tim Sheffield and Jeff Sheffield; three sisters, Belinda Buchanan, Jamie Gardner, and Gidget Williams; a special friend and caregiver, Tracy Carnathan; and a host of other family members.

He was preceded in death by his father, Elbert Sheffield, and his mother, Bertha Jean Peoples Wilson.

Visitation will be Saturday from noon until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
