Obituary

FULTON - Kathy Dianne Chamblee, 58, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at her home after 14-month battle with cancer.  Kathy was born March 10, 1966, to Jerry Lindon and Patricia Ann Plunkett Scott.  She was a graduate of Itawamba Agricultural High School.  She worked a while at Ferguson Enterprises and later as a CNA for area skilled nursing facilities.  Fiercely independent, Kathy was a hard worker with a stout determination to take care of things for herself.  She delighted in taking care of her yard and enjoying the company of her family and friends.  She loved her grandbabies with all her heart.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Joseph Jones officiating.  Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include her two daughters, Haley Chamblee Little (Tim) and Madison Scott, both of Fulton; her mother, Patricia Collier (John) of Fulton; two brothers, Michael Scott (Karen) of Fulton and Tim Scott of Tremont; and four grandchildren, Chris Little, Carson Little, Regan Elliott, and Charli Little.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Lindon Scott; one brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Lisa Scott; and her grandmother, Maden Plunkett Null.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Saturday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
