DORSEY - Kathy Earlene Bell, 67, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026, at her home after an extended illness.  She was born February 18, 1959, in Houston, Mississippi, to the late John Alec and Mildred Elizabeth Sykes Hill. She worked in the office at Hickory Springs Manufacturing for 33 years.  She attended Bethel Baptist Church and loved gardening and flowers.  Her greatest delight was being around her family, especially her grandchildren.

A memorial service with a time of visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, July 3, at the Ozark Baptist Church.  McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Kenneth Bell; her daughter, Brittany Kathleen Covington (Michael) of Mantachie; two brothers, John Hill, Jr., and Mike Hill (Michelle), both of Houston; two sisters, Libby Canerdy of Pontotoc and Lucy Brand (Wayne) of West Point; and her three grandchildren, McKenzie Covington, Elias Covington, and Dalton Robbins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Charlotte Hill; and one brother, Tommy Hill.
