Kathryn Louise "Kathy" Johansen, 63, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born November 4, 1959, in Adrian, Michigan. She worked in food service, working at several restaurants and she retired from the Tupelo Public School District as cafeteria manager. She enjoyed cross stitching, reading and was an avid genealogist.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Ray Manning, Bro. Derek Jones, and Bro. James Young officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include three children, Christina Klag of Mantachie, Robert Johansen (Rebecca) of the Ozark Community, and Brian Johansen of Mantachie; her father, Robert Lehto of Mantachie; four grandchildren, Lalita Klag, Corey Johansen, John Noah Johansen, and Drake Johansen; two brothers, Clyde Jones, Jr. (Shawn) of Crivitz, WI, and James Jones of Miami; two sisters, Sue Lehto of Fulton and Shannon McClain (Elvis) of Morenci, MI.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Johansen; her mother, Joyce Lehto; one sister, Kimberly Jones; her biological father, Clyde T. Jones.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
