Julie Elizabeth Allen, 45, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at her home after a life long illness. She was born August 21, 1976, in Sheffield, Alabama, to Peter Norman and Barbara Ann Kennedy Allen. She was always a very happy, loving person who enjoyed giving away things to others.

Private grave-side services were at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 13, at the James Creek Cemetery in Tremont. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her father, Peter Allen; two sisters, Destry McDonald (Jeremy) of Haleyville, AL and Sarah Hoing (Henry) of Pontotoc, MS; her nieces and nephews, Makayla, Abigail, Molly, Joshua, Jonas, Malachi, Aria, and Emma; a special uncle, Dale Kennedy (Susan) of Tremont; and a host of other family members.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Allen, who died in 1994; her grandparents, Woodley and Dorothy Kennedy, and Hubert Rex and Lois Allen.
