Joshua Eugene Smith 31, died Saturday, November 30, 2019, in Tupelo. He was born July 16, 1988, in Cleveland, MS, to Billy Lloyd Ray and Delorise Mae Smith. He worked at Ashley Furniture doing upholstery work. He also was gifted in doing construction projects. He enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, fishing, and playing with his dogs.

Memorial Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 5, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Bennie Randolph officiating.

Survivors include his mother, Lois Smith of Guntown; his fathers, Billy Lloyd Ray of Lucedale and Billy Eugene Smith, Jr. of Verona; one son, Blake Smith; one daughter, Gabriella Smith; five brothers, Steven Allen Smith of Lema, Ohio, Austin Cain Smith, Ryan Smith, Hunter Moore, all of Verona, and Zachary Ray of Lucedale; seven sisters, Amber Dawn Foster (Beaudy Harrison) of Guntown, Kimberly Nicole Russell (Brian) of Gautier, Ginnipher Spencer (Daniel) of Louisiana, Brandi Reynolds, Heather Sykes, Dawn Lashley, and Heather Stewart; one grandmother, Betty Gordon; two grandfathers, Clyde Smith and Billy Eugene Smith, Sr.; several aunts, uncles, and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Eve Ray, Mittie Baggett, Ruby Gant, and Grandma Gant; his grandfather, William Ray, and his great grandfather, Ben Baggett.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Thursday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
