FULTON - Jimmy Dale Franks, 72, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the Sanctuary Hospice House. He was born August 21, 1951, in Fulton to Lucian C. "Brove" and Mellie M. Hallmark Franks.  He worked in the road construction business during his later years. He was a born again Christian and an avid fisherman.  Jimmy enjoyed watching sports on television, especially baseball and college football.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, March 25, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Robert Humphres officiating.  Burial will be in the Clover Ridge Cemetery in the Clay community.

Survivors include his two sisters, Patsy Burleson (Bill) of Fulton and Peggy Mabus (Mike) of Tremont; his brother, Paul Franks (Juanita) of Mooreville; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Charles Franks and Clovis Franks.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Monday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
