Jimmy Earl Christian, 85, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was born August 18, 1940, to Rander and Juanita Cleveland Christian. He worked as an electrician in the maintenance department at Krueger Metal for many years. He was a member of the Lakeland Southern Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid gardener. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. David “ET” Turner officiating. Josh Christian will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be in the Stephens Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Sara Christian; one son, Nathan Christian; one daughter, Beverly Humble (Tim); one daughter-in-law, Patsy Christian, all of Mantachie; six grandchildren, Josh Christian (Lindsay), Britney Carr (Josh), Jacob Dallas Vick (Lamanda), Jonathan Christian, Will Christian, and Elizabeth Christian; nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Andy Christian; two brothers, Larry Christian and Randy Christian; an infant sister; and his parents.

Pallbearers will be Josh Christian, Jonathan Christian, Will Christian, Tim Humble, Dallas Vick, Conner Christian, and Ray Livingston.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from noon until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
