In loving memory of Ina Mae Gray Carson

ABERDEEN/FULTON - Ina Mae Gray Carson passed away September 15, 2023. She was born January 12, 1942, to O.B. and Bonita Gray. She  was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Dorsey. She worked most of her life in retail sales and won many sales awards throughout her  career. She loved her family passionately and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. There was nothing she loved more than spending time with her family. She was the type of person who never met a stranger and loved to talk and learn about the people she would meet, always asking "Now what's your name and where are you from?". She loved to laugh and make others laugh and through all of life's struggles she never lost her joy!

Services will be at 3:00 P.M. Sunday September 17, at Hopewell Baptist Church with Bro. Jackie Gray and Bro. Matt Hudson officiating. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery.  There will be a visitation time before the service beginning at 1:30 P.M.

McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two sons, Phil Carson (Kim) of Wren, Ken Carson of Booneville and one daughter LeSonya Whitehead of Jonesboro, AR; and 10 grandchildren, Cody Carson (Madison), Clay Carson, Anna Kathryn Poss (Jon David), Claire Crowell (Dalton), Caroline Camp (Zeke), Anne
Marie Carson, Darby Carson, Dylan Earnest, Brody Whitehead (Maggie) and Elena Whitehead and 5 great grandchildren; two brothers, Jackie Gray (Sue) of Dorsey, Joel Gray (Nanci) of Houlka, one sister Joyce Ann Awtrey of Fulton.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, James Gray, John Gray and Jimmy Gray; and her parents.

Pallbearers will be Cody Carson, Clay Carson, Dylan Earnest, Brody Whitehead, Jon David Poss, Zeke Camp and Dalton Crowell.
