Obituary

GOLDEN - Helen Faye Vinson, 87, of Golden, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice Unit. She was born February 6, 1938, to Charlie Arnold and Alcia Mae Cromeans. She was a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church. She was home maker, and she still enjoyed mowing her yard. She loved to quilt, and she enjoyed going to the beach, collecting seashells, and playing putt -putt golf.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 10, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Survivors include one son, William D. Vinson (Edith); one sister, Betty Sufficool; two grandchildren, Amanda Arnold and Kimberly Robertson; four great-grandchildren, Brysen King, Henry Arnold, Gunner Arnold, and Cody Roberts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pascal Vinson; one daughter, Lisa Ann Vinson; one great-grandson, Garrett Arnold; three brothers, Pete Cromeans, Gene Cromeans, and Tootie Cromeans; three sisters, Jo Ann Smith, Pernie Cleveland, and Ella Quay Cromeans.; and her parents.
