Gladys Louise Walton Franks, 102, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at The Meadows in Fulton. She was born March 31, 1922, to Jessie and Bessie Bell Walton. She was the oldest member of Ballardsville Baptist Church. She worked at Charm Step for several years and was a home maker. She was an avid gardener, loved her flowers, and enjoyed mowing her yard.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Frank Panzrino officiating. Burial will be in Walton Cemetery.

Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John K. "Bud" Franks; three brothers, Clyde Walton, Noon Walton, and Grady Walton; two sisters, Vera Wallace and Edith Griffin; and her parents.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home.
