She was born November 28, 1930, in Franklin County Alabama to Peter Martin Scott and Ozie Elvira Strickland (Mitchell, Scott). She was a long time, faithful member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Vina AL. Gladys retired as a LPN, having served the residence and their families at Red Bay Nursing Home for many years. She lovingly and skillfully cared for her husband (JT) for many years as his Parkinson's advanced, and until he went to meet his Savior. She loved her family deeply, praying for them daily and always ready to cook her delicious meals for every family visit.
Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 5, at the Ebenezer Baptist Church near Vina, Alabama. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
