MANTACHIE - Garry Michael Carroll, 68, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023, in Tupelo. He was born September 16, 1954, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, to John Henry and Ella Mae Winchester Carroll. He worked in tool and die at Delta International for 32 years, before becoming disabled. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and gardener. He was a skilled carpenter and enjoyed keeping a spotless yard.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Jackie Gray officiating. Burial will be in the New Chapel Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Carroll of Mooreville and Ben Carroll of Mantachie; one daughter, Amanda Waddle (Kyle) of Mantachie; the mother of his children, Brenda Palmer; four brothers, Roger Carroll (Angie) of League City, TX, Jeff Carroll (Rhonda) of Mooreville, Mark Carroll of Amory, and Greg Carroll (Star) of Tupelo; three sisters, Charlotte Gillentine of Knoxville, TN, Cheryl Johnson of Southaven, and Cynthia Doss of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Chloe Carroll, Averie Timmons, Braxton Carroll, Ella Carroll, Colton Carroll, and Maddie Taylor.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Anna Lou Carroll; one brother, Paul Carroll; and his parents.

Pallbearers will be Davis Kennedy, Tony Nichols, Jamie Williams, Riley Farris, Adam Carroll, and Daniel Carroll.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
