FULTON - Lona Eunell Digby, 93, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at the Meadows. She was born April 28, 1930, to Trannie and Eunice Wilemon. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She was a supervisor at Itawamba Manufacturing for many years. After retirement, she was a bus driver and monitor for Fulton Headstart. In her earlier years, she enjoyed camping, boating, and riding motorcycles with her husband. She was an avid gardener, and she enjoyed her flowers and cooking for her family.

Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 13, at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Bro. Jackie Gray and Bro. Kenny Digby officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include one son, Larry Digby (Patricia) of Fulton; one sister, Morine Rice (Bob) of Saltillo; two grandchildren, Audra Dendy (Garrett) of Fulton, and Meredith Digby (Caleb) of Valdosta, GA; five great grandchildren, Ella Dendy, Avery Dendy, Tucker Dendy, Charleigh Tucker, and Hannah Tucker; one daughter-in-law, Doris Mitchell Digby and her son Trey Mitchell of Iuka.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Digby; one son, Ricky Digby; one brother, Freeman Wilemon; and her parents.

Pallbearers will be Garrett Dendy, Caleb Tucker, Trey Mitchell, Kenny Coker, Tucker Dendy, and Eli Johnson.

Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
