FULTON - Edith Helen Pitts, 82, departed this world destined for her eternal Heavenly home on Sunday, May 15, 2022. She was born October 16, 1939, to Willis Langley and Kirksey Elizabeth Steele Morris. She enjoyed reading, traveling, gardening, quilting, and talking with and visiting her family and friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Sammy Raper officiating.  Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery near Nettleton.

She is survived by three daughters, Phyllis Rogers Baulch of Jackson, and Tammy Rogers and Selina Pitts Moore (Steve), both of Fulton; one son, Sam Pitts of the Evergreen community; two brothers, Wayne Morris (Linda) of Shannon and Charles "Bo" Morris (Alice) of Lincoln, IL; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; and two dear lifelong friends, Marty Fancher (68 years) and Helen Carter (73 years).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey E. Pitts; one son, Greg Pitts; two grandchildren, Brent Pitts and Brandi Leigh Bishop; her parents, Kirksey Elizabeth Steele Morris, Charles Pennal Morris, and Willis Langley; one sister, Gail Morris Hall; and one brother, V.W. "Ned" Morris.

Pallbearers will be Roy Baulch, David Baulch, Michah Baulch, Daniel Bishop, Bradley Bishop, and Ben Moore.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Tuesday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
