MOOREVILLE - Darron Dewayne Brooks, Jr., 38, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2026, at his home.  Jr., as he was lovingly known, was born May 18, 1988, in Kennett, Missouri, to Darron Dewayne and Pamela Jane Ryans Brooks. He was known for his genial personality and sense of humor. He loved everyone, and everyone loved him in return. His greatest joy in life was his son, who was his reason for living.  He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Kenny Shaw officiating.  Burial will be in the Dorsey Memorial Cemetery.

He is survived by his parents, Darron and Pam Brooks; his son, Ashur Brooks; and his best friend and former wife, Victoria "Tori" Brooks, all of Mooreville; two sisters, Casey White (Doug) of Baldwyn and Amanda "Mandy" Blanchard of Mooreville; two nephews, Levi and Peyton; and one niece, Sadie.

Pallbearers will be Tony Gunnells, Jason Gunnells, Austin Ryans, Randy Ryans, Jonathan Howard, Roman Campbell, Justin Whitworth, and Doug White.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Tuesday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
