Darrell Hugh Rayburn, 77, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the Sanctuary Hospice House. He was born April 13, 1948, to Roy Hugh and Mary Edna Dees Rayburn. He retired from Stone Containers. He enjoyed wood working, fishing camping, and grilling out. He loved watching college football and watching the Atlanta Braves play baseball.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 22, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Kenny Davidson officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include three daughters, Melissa Medley (Owen) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Krystal Tucker (Bobby) of Nettleton, and Donna Roberts of Nettleton; two brothers, Joe Rayburn (Kathy), and Ricky Rayburn (Angie), both of Mantachie; two sisters, Jannice Rayburn and Mary C. Rayburn, both of Fulton; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Rayburn; one brother, James C. Rayburn; one sister, Linda Pettigo; and his parents.

Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
