FULTON - Curtis Wade Hester, 54, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He graduated from Ackerman High School. He worked as a boiler maker and welder for Burkhalter in Columbus, Alstom Power in West Virginia, and most recently for the maintenance department at Cooper Tire. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers and Boilermakers Local 45. He attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He was a Veteran, serving in the United States Army. He was an avid Ole Miss fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR. He loved his special Yorkie, Tiny Bee.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, September 20, at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Bro. Jackie Gray and Bro. Tim Holsonback officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his parents, Ronald and Rachel Lamb, of Peppertown; his fiancée, Patti Ashley of Fulton; one son, Wade Hester of Brandon; two daughters, Carrie Hester of Brandon and Sierra Hester of West Virginia; one brother, Kelvin Hester of Mooreville; and one sister, Jonette Hodge of Collierville, TN.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Umfress, Perry Brooks, Bill Gilliland, Keith McMillen, John Blake, and Donnie Robinson.  Will Ashley will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Tuesday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
