MARIETTA - Christine Cele Smith, 63, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at her home. She was born February 17, 1959, in Alexandria, Minnesota, to Philip and Gail Marie Robinson Fiskness.  She was a 1977 graduate of Sauk Centre High School in Sauk Centre, Minnesota. She was a member of the Gilmore Chapel Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, singing, playing the piano, and spreading the word of God. She especially enjoyed being around her family and raising her babies.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 8, at the Gilmore Chapel Methodist Church with Bro. Douglas Kitchens officiating.  McNeece-Morris Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, Edward Dean Smith, of Marietta; four sons, Marshall Macey (Leah) and Thomas Smith, both of Iron, Minnesota, Phillip Smith of Picayune and Jon Smith (Danielle) of Florida; three daughters, Anna Smith of Marietta, Ella Smith of Carriere, MS, and Julia Wang (Kevin) of Houston, TX; two stepdaughters, Debra K. Smith and Teresa G. Smith; her father, Philip Fiskness of Glenwood, MN; one brother, Mitchell Fiskness of Sauk Centre, MN; one sister, Jilliene Hansel of Warren, OH; and her grandchildren, Alexander, Andrew, Nathan, Wesley, Darren, Harlan, Nadia, Aeva, and Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at Gilmore Chapel Methodist Church.
