Charles Stevens Mayhall, 93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at his home. He was born May 30, 1933, to Dewey and Nadine Paden Mayhall. He worked at JE Staub earlier in his life and then worked 25 years at Mueller Brass, where he retired from. He was a member of Altar Baptist Church and a World War II Veteran while serving in the Army. He was a great example to all, as a husband, father, brother, uncle, grandparent and friend on how to live this life. He loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and was dedicated to his church, family, and friends. He served his Savior out of fear and love and served his country with honor. He enjoyed gardening and working in the yard, and he cherished his grands and great grands.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 29, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Jackie Hastings and Bro. Billy Turbyville officiating. Burial will be in the Butler Cemetery.

Survivors include one son, Tommie Mayhall (Sherry); one daughter, Kathy Sturdivant , all of Tremont; seven grandchildren, Brittnie Wildmon (Michael), Lauren Inmon (Blake), Anthony Sturdivant, Daniel Sturdivant (Shayla), Bobby Crenshaw (Sharon), Jeremy Crenshaw (Leann), Amanda Garrison (Nathan); five great grandchildren, Alexia Rogers, Bayley Wildmon, Austin Lee, Casen Sturdivant, and Emma Brock (Kobi); several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Katherine Cromeans Mayhall; and infant son, Charles Mayhall; one son-in-law, Ricky Sturdivant; his sister, Dorothy Mae Cleveland; three brothers, Elvis Mayhall, William Ray Mayhall, and James Mayhall; and his parents.

Pallbearers will be Michael Wildmon, Blake Inmon, Bobby Cleveland, Keith Mayhall, Daniel Sturdivant, Junior Cromeans, Graylon Cromeans, Bayley Wildmon, Casen Sturdivant, and Austin Lee.

Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
