FAIRVIEW - Carol Lynn Williams, 83, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024, at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice Unit. She was born April 11, 1940, in Topeka, Kansas, to William "Bill" and Frances Marie Leonard Holliday. She worked as a CRNA for the Surgery Center at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo Anesthesia Group, and the Red Bay Hospital. She was a devout Roman Catholic and attended Christ the King Catholic Church in Fulton.  An avid lover of nature, Carol enjoyed plants, gardening, and walking.

Per Carol's wishes, there will not be a public service.

Survivors include her husband, James L. Williams, of Fairview; two sons, Worth Williams (Dorota) of Brandon and Forrest Wade Walker Williams of Fairview; one daughter, Holliday Lynn Ruffin (Joseph) of Fairview; one brother, Michael Holliday of Columbus, Ohio; three half sisters, Connie Sparks, Toni Holliday, and Phyllis Holliday; and six grandchildren, Seth James Williams, Natalie Elizabeth Williams, Nathan Forrest Ruffin, Joleigh Williams, Jude Williams, and Jace Shelby Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
