MOOREVILLE - Bobby Ray "Hard Times" Smith, 60, died Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at his home. He was born August 22, 1957, to Luther C. and Zener J. Holt Smith. He was a truck driver, known by the handle "Hard Times," most all his life. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved his family and especially enjoyed his grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 21, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Shaun Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Crossroads Cemetery

He is survived by his wife, Judy Smith; two sons, Bobby Ray Smith, Jr. (Jordan) of Mooreville and Dusty Luther Smith (fiancee Hannah) of New Albany; three grandchildren, Callie, Allison, and Maggie Mae Smith; two brothers, Floyd Smith and Jimmy Lee Smith; two sisters, Betty Harris and Janet Underwood; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jerry Smith.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
