FULTON/BRANDON - Alan "Blake" Richardson age 72, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2022, at The Meadows in Fulton, Mississippi, after a long, well-fought battle with Parkinson's disease for over 37 years. A former resident of Brandon, Mississippi, Blake was a military veteran who proudly served his county in the United States Air Force.

The son of Colonel Howard Richardson (deceased) and Vivian Ann Keele Richardson, Blake was born on April 1, 1950, at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington DC, attended and graduated from Kaiserslautern American High School in Kaiserslautern, Germany. He was a graduate of Mississippi State University with a BA in Banking and Finance and was a member of the MSU Track and Field Team.

Blake Richardson is survived by his mother, Vivian Keele Richardson of Brandon, Mississippi; his only child and son, Martin Triplett Richardson (Carrie) of Fulton Mississippi; grandchildren, Vivian Richardson, Rhett Anderson, Evie Lyles Anderson, and Kline Richardson, all of Fulton Mississippi; his siblings, brother Brigadier General William Keele Richardson (Jane), and sister, Janet Lynn Richardson Robertson; and a host of nieces and nephews who were very dear to his heart.

Blake was an avid golfer for many years and a true Mississippi State Bulldog alumni and fan.

A memorial service honoring the life of Blake Richardson will be held at noon Wednesday, December 28, at the McNeece-Morris Chapel in Fulton Mississippi, with the Rev. Phillip Box officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am Wednesday until the time of service.
