Betty Jo Wallace, 80, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born June 11, 1941, in Dorsey, to Paul and Syble Hatcher. She had previously worked at Mueller Brass and Reed's Manufacturing. She enjoyed fishing, dancing, being outdoors, and being around friends and family.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2022, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Ricky Lesley officiating. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery.

Survivors include one son, Matt Wallace of Dorsey; five grandchildren; best friend and cousin  , Paulette Whitt; several great grandchildren; several other family members.

She was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Ratliff; one daughter, Bonnie Hubbard; two sisters, Sylvia Smith and Jean Gregg; and her parents.

Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
