Obituary

Bethel Dupree Ray, 95, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023, at her home. She was born November 5, 1927, in Morgan City, LA, to Alex and Katherine LaRose Dupree. She was retired from Day-Brite Lightening. She was a member of the Fulton Church of God of Prophesy. She enjoyed playing dominoes and she especially enjoyed traveling with her family.

Services will be at Noon on Monday, March 27, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Billy Joe Ewing and Reverend Jim Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include one son, Tommy Ray, Jr. (Marlene) of Fulton; 12 grandchildren;14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Ray, Sr.; two brothers, Earl "Blackjack" Dupree and Kemper Dupree; four sisters, Lillian Aucon, Azalee "Tibby" Nope, Iona Schmerber, and Eleanor "Tootsie" Mangano; one great grandchild, Jason Gasaway; and her parents.

Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
