Obituary

Barbara Jane Luker, 44, departed this world on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at her home in Mantachie after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was a vibrant and cherished soul, taken away from her family way too soon. She had an infectious smile and nurturing spirit that touched everyone that knew her. She was a 1999 graduate of Mantachie High School. She worked 14 years for Bancorp South, before her illness. She faced and fought Leukemia with great courage and grace. Her greatest accomplishment and deepest joy was her beautiful daughter, Hannah, and granddaughter, Evie Jane.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, at the Mantachie Methodist Church with Bro. Caleb Holder and Bro. Phillip Carr officiating. Burial will be in the Stephens Cemetery.
